Hi,
seems a few people are having similar problems.
I have been drinking for the last 10 years. Suddenly I developed this allergy as soon as I had even as little as half a glass of beer
the reaction is an immediate flushing feeling, skin turns very red and hot, especially on my face and ears heaviness in the chest, palpitations, heaviness in the head, stomach cramps and a general feeling of malaise. It almost feels as if I have a rapid decrease or increase in blood pressure. The allergy stayed for a month then was gone for a month when it came back and stayed for 2 months then was gone for 10 days, came back and stayed for 3 months and was gone for 3 days and since then for the last 6 months has just stayed and has not gone away. I am curious as to why its staying time kept increasing and the time I could drink kept decreasing. More importantly I enjoy an occasional drink, as it is the only thing that I really enjoy and do not relish the idea of never being able to have a drink. I want to know what this is all about, causes and ways to cure it. Fellow sufferers can send me a mail, or post any other resources I can look up
thanks,
Pan.
