I am not sure if I have ever heard of a cure. I am not sure if desensitization would work either, though it may. You are right, the oral allergy syndrome is due to cross reactivity of the pollens and certain food allergens, not the chemicals the fruit tis treated with. It is the rule rather than the exception that you symptoms never progress beyond the usually mild swelling or itching of the palate, tongue, etc., though it can be mighty uncomfortable. Good luck
