You should do some research on different breads of cats. Some cause more problems than others. They have hairless cats too, hehe, they're quite pricy though.
The only thing i would suggest is that if you have a friend of family member who has a cat try and see it every day....starting off with just a few min, then increase., thats teh only way you could condition yourself.
Your best bet would be to research breeds of cats though. It would definitly be the easiest. Try to contact some breeders in your area, or you can talk to a vet about which cats are less likely to cause a reaction. then you could try and find someone with one and see if it causes you any problems.
