Hi, I 'm allergic to sulfa also. No, that doesn't mean you can't take sulfur. I have a mild acne problem and some creams contain sulfur. I looked this same question up a couple of weeks ago believe it or not because I didn't want to have the gigantic hives that sulfa gave me. I looked up sulfa using a search engine and a couple of doctors answered my question. By the way, I have been using it one my face for about a week now, and guess what? No hives.
