Hi,
There's been lots of news recently that repeated sinus troubles is a result of fungus.
Also keep in mind that there are LOTS more allergens than what you were tested for. Take molds... you could be allergic to one that's not commonly tested. Those ones are only common ones and ones found in your locality. Also I've read that the TIME of day makes a difference on reactions. Results are more accurate in the afternoon when ige counts, eosinophils have increased. Also, the tests themselves can vary... as well as admininstration of them. As for pain, inflammation alone can bring that one.
In the meantime, drink lots of water to help keep mucous thin.

P.S. Ask the doc what color your nasal passages are. A pale blue is one color that signifies allergic rhinitis.
