: : : For the past two years I have been experiencing lower lip swelling. It feels hot, tingles, swells, and the area directly under the lip sometimes has red patches. I have not changed my diet and I am not taking any medication. All the “Doctors” I have seen are at a loss, anyone else experienced this?
: : i'm bummed to hear your condition lasted two years . I have had a similar condition for about a year. I f you get this message please desrcibe in greater detail what you are experiencing. Is there an inflammed border around the lower lip? I'll get back to you.
: Hello face swellers, I too have had lip swelling it gets to a point that it looks like my lips would explode, unitl recently it was just my lips now I notice the swelling in my cheek/ jaw area.
: I too have been to Dr's and alergist and no definitive answer In addition to my lip swelling, on occasion it will be my feet I know that sounds wierd but that is what happens to me I can feel it comming on a day or so in advance and have been taking Benidryl to fight off attacks but that has limited results
: hope to get more info soon.
I think you have to consider something called Melkersson Rosenthal.. I have this condition and the swelling in the beginnings of the disease mimic angioedema.. Yet antihistamines do not help at all and steroids are of limited use.
