I have taken allergy shots for 5 years. I was recently retested, and I had, in fact, gotten much less allergic to many things. But, I was still a 2 on most things. Before the shots, I was a 2++ and 3 on many things. I have now discontinued the shots to see if I feel better without them. My biggest allergy is to horses, which I train, and cannot get immunizations for, so we shall see.
