I have severe fruit allergies. I cannot eat oranges, apples, banannas, melon, cherries, strawberries, pears, or really any other fruit. This all began when I was a teenager, around 14 years old and has only gotten worse over the years. Recently I ate 4 cherries and had such severe pains in my chest on the right side up to the center of my chest, I was in tears. The pain comes in waves, like contractions. I had never had such a bad reaction to the cherries previously.
I am wondering if I were able to eat all of those fruits without any problem as a child, why am I having such a problem now? I question whether pesticides have anything to do with this. I consulted a doctor at one time many years ago about it, but was never sent to an allergist to find out conclusively why my body rejected these food items so violently. The doctor said to just avoid eating them and that was it.
I wanted to find out if anyone has had problems similar over the last twenty years that could correlate with pesticides.
