My daughter has developed allergies to all meats. She has also developed allergies ot wheat, eggs and dairy. She has an autoimmune condition and has taken prednisone and cyclosporine for years. I think her immune system is falling apart because of these drugs, hence the allergies. The doctors did not believe this could happen and asked for RAST tests. The RAST tests came back as positive for each of these things and they STILL don't want to believe it and are now saying the tests are not accurate indicators. I am wondering why they ran the tests in the first place? Because they thought they would come back negative and they could say "I told you so." I should add that my daughter's reactions are quite serious, especially to meat. Her throat swell up if she has even one bite. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks!
