: I recently adopted two beautiful cats that I love very much. I have a history of allergy and asthma. I have been in remission for many years. Have even had an outdoor cat with not problem during my childhood. Now, severeal years later I have developed an acute asmtha condition when I am around the cats. I am currently getting allergy shots. ( only a couple of weeks.) Any body now of how I can control this, I use allerpet on then, air filter, and still am constantly wheezing and gasping for breath. I have contemplated on returing them to the shelter. I just cant bring myself to do it. Its breaking my heart. Any suggestions, please e-mail me. Thanks
