Can it ever!! I also have allergy-induced asthma and when my allergies are bad, a simple quarrel with my husband or an unreasonable demand from a client - both of which are totally typical in my life:-) - can set off a really uncomfortable and scary attack. Its important to stay as calm as possible when the allergies are acting up because stress seems to get ultra-magnified then.
