: hi. i work at a small center, and what we do is put what things the child is allergic to on a index card, in the snack room. So the person preparing food can be aware to send another snack to him/her. It has worked quite well. I do not really agree with the banning of peanuts, how would you like it if your child loved something that another was allergic to, and then couldn't have it? Don't go to extremes at first, see what might work first. only a suggestion, hope to help.
