Hi, I just found this site and am curious if anyone has heard of getting an allergy to apples. I also read that you can have a cross reaction. My son has broken out in hives for the past 2 1/2 days. We have narrowed it down to apples or peanut butter. (we think) Anyway, I was reading that if you are highly allergic to birch trees, than eating apples will cause a reaction. Any takers. I personally wouldn't know a birch tree if it fell on my house (which I hope it does not) I am racking my brain. Benadryll helps the itchies, but I really don't know what to do.
