: You could be allergic to almost anything in your environment... the trick is to determine what it is. I've been pretty good at figuring that out in my situation - getting cured of my allergies is my current problem. You need to be aware of where you are when these things happen to you (hives, swelling)... or what products you have applied to yourself, or in the house. For instance, I got real itchy when I would lay down to sleep. If I got up out of the bed, I was fine. It was my sheets... I had become allergic to chlorine and the sheets had been washed in water that had chlorine in it. Once I put a purifier on the facet to my washer and ran the sheets through a couple wash cycles, I can sleep in my bed without itching. Of course, within a just a couple days, I got itchy even wearing my clothes, so I had to re-wash everything...It's really a matter of very careful detective work on your part - being aware of the connection to how you are feeling and the things you are using in your home, on your body, and even the water in my case. Good luck. Feel free to email me if you want more info. firstname.lastname@example.org
I am experiencing the same problems. Seven days ago, My upper lip was swollen, then two days later my lower lip was swollen, and the next day, my right eye was nearly swollen shut. I have itchy hives all over that come and go without any probable cause. I have not changed my eating habits at all. The only thing I have been doing lately is a lot of cleaning. No harsh cleansers, but perhaps the dust? Otherwise, could it be just nerves? Today I had another swollen upper lip & still have hives... HELP.
