: DURING HOT OR HUMID WEATHER I EXPERIENCE REDNESS, SWELLING, STIFFNESS AND PAIN IN MY ARMS,LEGS, HANDS, FEET, TOES, ETC. ALCOHOL (ONE OR TWO DRINKS) BRINGS IT ON ALSO. MOSTLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS, BUT IT ALSO OCCURS IN THE WINTER MONTHS ON OCCASION. I HAVE BEEN TESTED FOR EVERYTHING.., LYME,THYROID,ETC.
: THE PAIN CAN BE VERY INTENSE.
Have you tried physical therapy. I am currently going to a physical therapist for muscle spasms and trigger points in my neck, shoulder and back.
She works on the muscles for about 45 minutes, than shown me exercises to help stretch out the muscles. It has done me a world of good. She has given me easy, not strenuous exercises that do not take up a lot of time, which of course, everyone is short on. Good luck.
