: : I have some food allergies which include chocolate, dairy products, possible wheat. I am having problems with exema it's bad all over my face, arms and torso. I have cut out these foods almost completely. I am still having trouble, I have tried just drinking apple juice for a couple of days which helps clear things up temporarialy, but it just keeps coming back. I have tried eliminating other foods such as tomatoes carrots breads. Anybody have any ideas as to what I should try next. Is it possible that it is stress? Any information anybody could give would be appreciated
My daughter has eczema and is allergic to lots of things, mainly foods. We had her allergist do a RAST test on her, it's a blood test, they test the blood itself. Well, lots of things showed up and too many for an elimination diet to figure out. One thing that I asked to be tested that the doctor didn't suggest was cotton and it's a good thing I asked that it be checked too because she is VERY allergic to cotton. My sister also has eczema and one of the things that effects her face is fake nails. By the way different things can effect you face. With all the allergies my daughter has only certain foods effect her face.
That the same with my sister. And YES stress can make eczema worse.
