: I was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about ann allergic reaction I get to drinking any kind of alcohol after consuming any type of food. I generally have to wait four hours after eating before i can drink alcohol. If i do not wait this time i have an allergic reaction. My face gets extremely red, and my head and heart throb.
I had similar symtoms myself.... my doctor, told me I had Rosacea...which is a skin condition of the face, especially of the nose and cheeks, the cause is unknown, but it may be associated with eating or drinking irritant foods,or overindulgence of alcohol... know medically as acne rosacea, it involves enlged blood vessels, giving the nose, cheeks a red, flushed appearance.. anyway thats what the book says.... my doctor prescribed me a lotion called Rozex
Gel,it is made by a company called Galderma.. which is applied twice a day.... I am writing from Aus.but where ever you are this product may have a different name...hope this info is of interest...regards Heather...
