I have a 3 month old that is allergic to cow's milk. She has blood in her stools, reflux, and cries a lot too! She is about to start on Neocate this weekend. I am battling my HMO for coverage. She is on Zantac, but this doesn't seem to do anything. It is veery hard to deal with the crying and we have a 2 year at home who demands attention too. I would love to hear from other mothers, as I feed very alone in this problem. Please let me know how things are going with you. My email address is tomnallison@hotmail.com: I have a three month old on Neocate as well. She has been on it since she was one month and was doing great until a couple of weeks ago. After being severly gassy and constipated as well as vomiting she was diagnosed wih reflux and is now on zantac. She is doing much better for now, but we'll see how long this lasts. As for the cost, my insurance company denied coverage for Neocate but if yu haven't tried it, yours just might. Good luck!
