: Hi
: I was reading your post and I don't have an allergy to milk but I did when I was a baby. Back then the doctors would think it was all the mothers head!
: I was allergic to milk until the age of 10 and I slowly I was able to drink the milk. I'm 19 now and frankly I don't even remember being allegic to milk at all!
: Hope it helps!
: Good luck!

Hi,

My daughter is 20 months old and has been allergic to milk ever since she was born. Her symptoms were eczema (dry and itchy skin)
irritability, shortness of breath and itchy throat. she probably had the abdominal cramps as well as she would not stop screaming when she was a baby.
She is now compeletely off milk products and doing wonderfully. You must make sure though that it's not lactose intolerance that your husband has. it's quite different from an allergy.
An allergy could be fatal while an intolerance is just very uncomfortable and painful.
I am lactose intolerant and use Lactaid pills before I have any dairy product. It's great because I can eat just about anything now.
Good luck
