My mom heard something on the news about a possible link between decaffeinated sodas and sinus congestion? Supposedly something about the decaffeination process, maybe a chemical, makes (GROSS-OUT ALERT) mucus thicker, which is bad news for people with chronic sinusitis.

Does anyone know about this? Mom couldn't remember the details.
