: I am looking for proper protical for hospitals and doctors offices to follow for laytes allergy patients.
: I am treated a a military facilty where they seem to disregard my allergy. What should I look for and
: what should I demand from my providers???

My experience is: there are non-latex medical equipment that the facilities can obtain...injectable medication needs to be done, using the syringes and procedures to prevent injecting latex into us! I too, have had very negative experiences with doctors, especially, ignoring my allery and causing me much difficulty. Our state nursing board is striving to eliminate latex from local medical facilities, as numerous health care workers are experiencing this allergy due to frequent contact. contact you state offices, i.e. health department.
