: : I suffered from a sinus problem about 1 1/2 years ago that lasted several months. I ended up going to an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist who after treating the immediate problem with antibiotics, put me on allergy shots. Seems like about the same time I started to experience two things: 1) a lot of memory loss (I used to have a great memory; I'm just 37 years old), 2) frequently feeling that my mind is working at a very slow pace, that I'm always distracted and can't focus and complete a thought process. The best way I can describe it is that I feel like my mind is in a fog, everything is unclear, uncrisp. It's a very frustrating feeling.
: : I'm considering stopping the allergy shots to see if they are the cause.
: : Does this describe your situation?

: Thanks for writing back. Yes what you describe sounds alot like me. My foggy feeling started before my shots though. My Allergiet said it is normal to feel this way but I feel so much like Im in a dream sometimes . Do you have a bad time with the preseption of time. What I did this morning will feel like I did it days ago. I do have a much harder time remembering things I did the day before I dont forget them completley but things are just harder to remember. I am only 38. I have noticed my symptoms are worse when my face has more presure and my ears are more full feeling. Do you also have fullness in your ear? Are your symptoms constant like mine or do they come and go? Thanks San
I do not feel any physical symptoms like fullness of ears and my symptoms are not constant. I have some good days when my mind and memory work like they used to...sharp, quick, can make connections, can solve problems. However, the bad days are frequent and awful.
