The surgery is sinus surgery where they go in and pack the sinuses with the gauze. It doesn't sound too pleasant to me. Plus there are risks such as eye damage and brain damage. I'm not sure I'm willing to risk that if the surgery isn't 100% effective. I've heard horror stories on how some people have had several surgeries and still no relief or come out even worse than they were before!
