: where can you buy the grapeseed extract for allergies?

Carmen, We were just talking about this product under "seasonal Allergies" Subject. You can get grapeseed extract at any health food store. Do some reading on it first so you have a better idea what to look for in the product. Look in AOL or Yahoo under "grapeseed Extract" for some websites. The product should contain at least 90% total polyphenols...this it the component that causes the free radical or oxidant scavenging activity. Some products also contain the grapeskin in addition to the seed and some contain citrus bioflavonoids with Hesperidin and will better alleviate allergy symptoms. It is recommended that you start off with 120mg a day for a week or so to saturate your system then you can reduce the intake to 60mg a day. I guess it would all depend on the severity of your allergies. But, do some reading on it....there are other benifits to taking this suppliment.
Good luck!
