: Well, I've been there before and am there again. Pain between the eyes, dizziness, lightheadness, and sinus pressure. It started after I was mowing a few weeks ago. There were a lot of leaves on the lawn and I proceeded to mulch them up with the mower -- bad idea. Needless to say, I'm feeling miserable once again. Claritin does not seem to help much, but Claritin-D, the one with the decongestant, at least makes things tolerable. It definitely clears your sinuses out. I was also prescribed a steroid nasal spray (Nasonex) which I have not used yet. Anyone out there have any experience using it? I was never very keen on using any type of steroid.
: Symptoms: started with common cold, and massive pain inbetween eyes upon landing after a long flight. Then 3 months of light-headedness, lack of concentration, light fever for a few weeks, constant floating feeling, inability to focus mentally. (Seems to have found renewed strength during hay-fever allergy season). Frequent headaches and pain in forehead, and face, sometime other parts of head. Sometimes would get better, but with a touch of alcohol, or without logical reason, the symptoms would be severe again. Tried anti-biotics, anti-histamines,topical steroids (nasal Sprays), etc. Sinus xray was normal. Now time for a CT scan. Any ideas? Is this chronic sinusitis? Bariosinusitis? I can usually deal with the headaches and pain, but not the dizziness and constant spaciness? If you have had such symptoms and were able to find your way back into normality, please let me know what you did. Thks, Roland
