: I recently had a CT scan and my ENT specialist said there was inflammation all over and that surgery would have an 80% chance of curing it. I have allergies (pollen, ragweed and mold) and for the past few years have developed bad sinus problems. I get sinus headaches a lot and facial pressure and I am sooo fatigued! Although I never have a colored discharge which is usually what people describe when they have a sinus infection.
: I don't want the surgery although I want relief. Any advice out there or anyone experiencing the same thing?
my daughter caity had sinus surgery when she was 5yrs old she is now 7. What a god sent that was. She had a sinus infection that we could not cure with antibiotic, she was on them for nine months. After the surgey she has been good since. It is more serious to leave the infection in there then to have the surgery, I did alot of reading before she went in and I also am a nurse and spoke to alot of doctors prior to the surgery. hope all goes well with you.
