: : I AM A 40 YEAR OLD FEMALE. IN PRETTY GOOD GENERAL HEALTH. APROXIMATELY A YEAR AGO MY SCALP BEGAN ITCHING CHRONICALLY. I SAW A DERMATOLIGIST, WITH NO DIAGNOSIS. ABOUT 5 DAYS AGO I BEGAN BREAKING OUT IN LARGE WELTS THAT ITCH LIKE CRAZY. THE ARE CONSENTRATED IN MY UPPER THIGH,UNDER MY BREASTS, ALONG MY STOMACH, MY HAIR LINE AND FOREHEAD. THEY ARE NOW APPEARING ON MY FACE AND HANDS. MY DOCTOR HAS PRESCRIBED ZYRTEC 10 MG DAILY AND RANTIDINE 2 X DAILY. ARE THOUGHTS ON HER DIAGNOSIS OR OTHER POSSIBILITIES
: I am 41, have had hives on all parts of my body for 5 years. I take zyrtec 10 mg per day for last three years. on occasion, I take prednisone when zyrtec does not do the job. get an allergy test - mine were all negative and i have learned to stay away from preservatives, too much sunlight, too many harsh chemicals, pollution, etc.
I have had chronic urticaria for the last year. I had a food allergy test done and it came up negative on all 50 of the foods tested for. I had a blood test done and I am going to see the doctor today about that. I am taking Cetrazine once daily and Rantidine 2x daily.
