: My daughter is now 15 months old, but ever since I was around 3 months pregnant with her I developed a bumpy, painful rash on my chin. I thought maybe I was having an allergic reaction to my prenatal vitamins, so I let it go. A month after she was born, I went to a dermatologist. He said I had eczema, possibly due to stress. He gave me an antibiotic and cream to put on the rash. While I was on the anitbiotic the rash seemed to go away. Ive gone to the doctors recently about the eczema, I was told there was nothing I could do about it. Although when I go tanning at a salon, the rash does go away. The doctor said its because of the ultraviolet rays. Im 3 months pregnant again so that is out of the question. In addition to the eczema, I developed some sort of allery to seafood when I was pregnant and it has stuck with me ever since. I used to eat seafood on a regular basis and I love it. Now it causes me terrible pains in my chest and stomach. Does anyone know if there could be a relationship between the eczema and seafood allergy? Will they ever go away since I develped them when I was pregnant? HELP! Im getting very fed up with both of these new found allergies.
My wife has had some similar problems, unfortunately they have not gone away. Treatment by a doctor is the only way to relieve some of the problems. However she is able to minamize those prblems by avoiding certain foods. (Eggs and Milk)
Good Luck
