There definitely is such a thing - reactions can range from mild to life threatening. You may want to research the astronaut (in the 60's?) who was either denied or almost denied a space mission from "health problems" which eventually were traced to a reaction to this dye. Ever since then, I've avoided it like the plague. Why is it still in our food? Actually, I now try to avoid ALL dyes, preservatives, etc. Additives are sickening so many people.
