Every cat litter I have tried produces an asthma attack. The hardest-clumping I've found ("Tidy Cats") took
a long time to become sensitized to, but unfortunately, even that brand eventually caused an asthmatic
reaction, too. I am desperate here-breathing is, to put it mildly, slightly important to me.
Before I hear a collective yell (GET RID OF THE 2 CATS!), I should say that they are kept for more
than just pets. They are a major emotional help in fighting my chronic depression (don't laugh-hey,they
work!). I will try anything (almost) first.
My duplex is too small to allow the placement of the litter box in a far-away spot, both my daughter
and I have air filtration units in our rooms, and I have replaced the house air intake filter with a HEPA filter
Also, when i clean the box (daily), I wear a surgical mask.
So, anyone out there who has solved this problem?
