: We want to get a pet for my grandma (preferably a cat) who lives with us However, my brother is allergic- though less than before. Does anybody:

: 1) know of any cats which do not have dander?
: 2) know of any pets which do not have dander?
: 3) know of any strategies cat owners can use if there is a member who is allergic around during vacation times?

: much thanks.

I don't know of any cats that don't have dandruff. Unless you bought a hairless cat! :)
There is a shampoo out there called Allerpet. It is used once every 10 days, all she would have to do is dampen a cloth and wipe the cat and then dry it with a towel. It is very easy. What kind of allergies doesyour brother have to cats? If it is itchy eyes and runny nose then the Allerpet would probably work. Try it. Good Luck!!!
