: I am new to this website and am not sure what to say
: Except that I have found my source of headaches and I believe I HAVE STOPPED my headaches. I stopped eating vegetarian hot dogs & related products
: I would get real sleepy after eating these products and thereafter would get an eyeball headaches and
: would have headaches every week.
: disclaimer I do not want to hurt anyone by saying not to buy these products
: but in my case I choose not to eat these products

If you check that package of vegetarian or any other hotdog (the garden burgers too), you'll probably see monosodium glutamate. If not this, then HYDROLIZED or AUTOLIZED things. They are "components" for lack of a better term, of MSG and products will often list "No MSG" and have these in them. They still give me headaches - after the tired, kinda "drunk" feeling. Also look for "natural flavors" or "natural spices or flavorings" in many packaged foods. Again a hiding place for MSG.
Hot Dogs usually have some form of nitrate too. Don't know about the vegitarian kind. Quite possible.
The garden burgers also have romano or parmesan cheese, another headache offender.
