: : Over the past 18 months my wife and I began a medical mystery tour that ended in June 1999. My wife, Cindy, was diagnosed with ALS.

: : This message is sort of the beginning of my attempt to learn more about how ALS affects victims and their families.

: : I am also new to "THE NET" and message boards.

: : If anyone has any comments or thoughts on ALS, I welcome your response.

: : May GOD bless you.

: Hello,

: I just wanted to write a word of encouragement. Honestly, I don't know much about this disease, but that
: it is deadly and horrible. A man from my church has been suffering from it for the last few years. He has not
: been able to walk without a cane and he goes everywhere in a wheelchair. However, last Friday night, he was
: prayed over, and by the power of Jesus Christ, he has been healed. He is completely well!!! praise the
: Lord. He is the God of the Bible, miracles do happen.
: Matthew 21:22 "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive". (the key part is
: "believing")

: God Bless you all,

My name is Andrew Paterson. I am in the 11th grade and I am doing a study on ALS.
Throughout my light research, I have concluded that it is not a very fun disease to get.
One of my best friends' mom has ALS. She is a single mother. It is very hard for my friend
as one can imagine. I am always praying for my friend and his mom. I believe that with prayer,
miracles can happen. I am delighted to hear about the man from church that chrissy wrote about.
I love to hear things like that, I hope you take this message to your heart and give the Lord a chance.
God is wonderful and he can make things happen. So, basically, this is another message of support
to keep on going. I will be praying for you as well.
