My Symptoms: I have had maybe three classic attacks (fatty meal,severe pain on right side,vomiting). I have some minor discomfort on my right side after a meal quite often as well as a little nausea and gas. Much of the time I feel like I have a brick in my stomach all night. Also, I have had some constipation. I am overweight and have had a few children, which can be a factor in gall bladder disease. I have heard that whole grains and high fiber can make symptoms worse.Back when my Dr. 1st said he thought I had gall stones I tried drinking apple juice in LARGE amounts for about a week. When they did an ultrasound they said the gall bladder was normal. I have heard of a cleanse where you drink olive oil and lemon juice after drinking the apple juice. I didn't finish it because they said the gall bladder was normal. Now, I'm afraid to do it because I don't want the stones to get caught on the way out like I've heard can happen. I am very interested to hear about any other things that might work. I am breastfeeding so I have to be careful what I take. Do you know about milk thistle?
