About a year ago after a sex act, within days of the encounter I started to get a redness / soreness on the head of my penis. To cut an extremely long story short, I was diagnosed with Balanitis and put on to a treatment of anti-fungal / steroid creams. Unfortunately these didn’t work and the redness spread became even more uncomfortable. After six months of unsuccessful treatment my only option left was circumcision. I initially reluctantly took this decision (2 months ago) and thankfully this relieved some of the discomfort.

: I am not sure how long this will last, or how worse it will get but am preparing for the worst. I am hoping someone might have some advice on alternative treatments for Balanitis, and any creams / lotions that can reduce the discomfort. Am prepared to try natural creams or Chinese medicine ?? – anything really that might help
