: Itis my understanding that foot reflexology is considered to be a form of alternative medicine. Has anyone out there tried this? None of my friends have. I have researched its health benefit claims and they are numerous although there are critics. I must admit that I am somewhat sqeamish about someone I don't know touching my feet but I still am interested in giving it a go. Any comments on this subject will be appreciated.
I have practiced reflexology as well as receive it on a regular basis. There is a lot of information and history on the subject dating back to Egyptian times. With all subjects open to human speculation you will always have critics. Reflexology is not used to diagnose or treat any illness or symptom. I have seen results using ref. but the main objective is to relax and increase the circulation. My advice would be to try it for yourself. Then you'll know if it is for you.
