: : What are the natural and safe ways of dealing with gall stones? I would welcome hearing your experiences. I have stones aand do not want surgery. I take lecithin, as well as borage/flaxseed/fish oil suppliment garlic and gugulipids for slightly elevated cholesterol and psylliunm every day. But this is not getting rid of the stones.
: Try Olive Oil. Test revealed my gall bladder
packed with stones...I took Olive Oil and it relieved the pain...after about a year I had a bad attack that sent me to the hospital...Surgery was schedueled but was canceled when the tests showed NO stones,, just infection... that was 7 years ago,,,I had no surgery but make sure that I have at least 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil a week. If I feel the gallbladder twinge I take an extra spoon... My Dr. and I work with antibiotics to keep gallblader infection down. the olive oil seems to keep the stones from forming and the pain to a minimum.
I have had a few gall bladder attacks that were very painful and then had an ultrasound and it showed stones. I read up on this and have been taking dandeline and milk thistle. It comes in a bottle with an eyedropper and you take about 20 drops in a little water. When I did not take this for a few weeks, I had another attack. I began taking it again and have had no attacks to date. It is supposed to help the bile do what it is supposed to do -- eliminate the stones. I get it in the health food store. Good luck to you.
