HI Deb,Very intresting I don't think I like the smell of tea tree oil enough to even consider it as a deoderant.There is a book on"Vermont Folk Medicine" by Dr Jarvis that talks about bacteria that causes odor(my book is so old it cost $.50 paperback).I've recently seen it in health food stores.Basically, ALL Germs including those that cause body odor grow best in an alkaline environment(greater than a Ph of 7.0)and die off in an acid environment.Soaps are alkaline and leave a film on the body that promotes bacteria growth.Dr.Jarvis,MD says use a mild acid such as vinegar and you get rid of BO.OK enough said----- ALUMINUM is in much stuff pots,pans, cans,antiacids, shampoos, buffered medication,foods,foil we use in the kitchen ,sprays,etc.WE are likely going to absorb it sometime in some way and I have HEARD it's linked to dementia and AD HA!.I do know that Aluminum oxide is a proven homeopathic remedy(Alumina) to treat confusion among other ailments.THE basic principles of homeopathy is that if a remedy has been proven by their standands, then the remedy can be used to cure when used in very very very small doses.THE conclusion is that it has been used for at least 100years to treat confusion and other mental problems,these days known as dementia and AD,then in larger amounts it not only can-- it will cause these conditions.Some treatments include VITS &Mineral , chelation therapy ,homeopathy ,herbs,and others.I have heard that these illnesses are not well understood. Please tell me what is.Do you think we know how even an asprin works? Harry
