My mom has had Alzheimer's for about 8 years now. She is 68 years old. For the last 3-4 months she gets very angry with my dad for no reason. She yells and cusses at him which are two things she never did before. She has even hit and kicked him. He is her care giver and loves her deeply. What can be done to help her? I'm not big on medication, but if anyone has had any success with a drug for anger, please let me know. She does take Aricept and something to help her sleep.
