I am 34 years old and for the last 10 years or so I have had poor memory for someone my age. At home I can never seem to remember where I put things, what I watched on TV last night, Lyrics to songs, and much of my childhood etc. . At work I have a very difficult time learning and remembering new tasks. My wife usually has to remind me of different thing quite often. She is very understanding of my trouble remembering things but at times I still feel really stupid when I can't remember important dates or events.
I am not dumb since my IQ is about 120. As a teenager
I had epilepsy and had at least 12 Grand-Mal seizures over the course of 5 years. I was wondering if that could have affected my memory even though I have been seizure free for 14 years? And also would there be
any prescrition drugs, Lecithin, Gingko Biloba, or anything else that could improve my memory?
