My grandmother is 91 years old and has been diagnosed with senile dementia. We currently are taking care
of her at home. The problem we are having is that she is so quiet that she gets out of bed unassisted and
is very weak. We are afraid she will fall. We heard about a thing called a pressure mat which can be placed on
the bed and when she gets up, it will sound an alarm. I can't seem to find anyone who knows anything about
these. Does anyone know who manufactures these items or where I may look to find one. We can not
use a personal alarm that attaches to her clothes, because she just takes them off. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.
