Thank you, Carol, for your help. We have had extensive tests this week and go Wed. morning for evaluation. Hopefully, we'll learn more then.
I know low thyroid can do lots of things because I have to take Synthroid 1.25mg. It hasn't helped my memory, but has helped my weakness some.
We all have something, I guess.

: The thyroid balances out all body chemicals and hormones and esp. tires or burns out in the middle-aged, elderly or aged after about 50 and on. This problem may be from meds which side-effects you can get from a pharmacy or you get a referral to an endocrinologist, which I would do as dementia is a symptom of low-thyroidism.
: I had wild body temp fluctuations from low-thyroidism that I do not have now.
