Thanks, Carol, for your suggestion. We have had another complete evaluation on my husband, including thyroid, and it seems to be O.K. I do not know what test was used, but I especially asked the Dr. about thyroid, and he said it surely could cause dementia, but in this case that was not the cause. I pray for a miracle for him, that he will not have to endure the years of slowly slipping away like his other family members did.

I appreciate any input anyone has as to how to best handle this sad situation.
