My wife is on ARICEPT (see FRONTAL LOBE DIMENTIA) and while it is prescribed for this condition as "can't hurt,but it may do some good", I would not chance NOT continuing its use. However, you might ask your Doctor about the use of RESPERDAL(resperidone) as a "calming" influence.We are just starting to use it as a method of calming her restlessness and/or agitation that MAY be caused by the use of ARICEPT.RESPERDAL is the trade name,relatively expensive,used in varying doses primarily for psychotic patients.
