I read that Alzheimer's does not get much $ as far as medical research is concerned: There are millions more of Americans affected by Alzheimer's than AIDS, but there are billions $$$ more spent on AIDS research than Alzheimer's. On top of that, AIDS is a preventable disease if people are just willing to use their brains. I never thought the govenment would make such discouraging stand against Alzheimer's. Maybe those in charge of financing have it themselves :( I thought medical research was supposed to work for the people. This lack of support has to be an anchor, if not counter productive all together. I really don't like this.
