I read yesterday that there is a significant number of nursing homes that had medication problems. Majority of the problems were because of wrong dosages. One case was fatal and many others had life threatening symptoms. I don't mean to alarm anyone but it was a shocker to me. I was glad that my grandfather is not a nursing home. If the study done were to be projected to the nation, there would be 350,000 homes with same problems. The government will fund more studies to find info nationwide and what can be done to fix. I just wanted to share in case someone is looking for a home, I ask that you really look in to what kind of history the place has.
