My mother in law has been in a care home for about 2 mos now in the end stages, unable to do anything for herself. Even when she was home she seemed to yell or shriek from time to time, some days more than others.
The Dr. has given meds for this but I don't see a real change. The Dr. thought there was a chance she had Cancer of some type awhile back, but because further tests could cause more harm and pain than good, my Father-in-law decided not to go foward. Could she be in pain, the long-term yelling might point to that. Or is this yelling part of the end stages of the disease, it is so hard when she cannot tell us. Thank You
