: My mother is caregiver for my dad with altzheimers. Daily she faces the challange of getting him to be on time for appointments and meals. He is very slow to dress and sometimes will become involved in counting change or locating keys, prompting her to remind him repeatedly about the time. It sets up a negative dynamic in which they become irritated with each other because she seems bossy and he seems resistant. Any suggestions for ways to handle this situation? Thank you.
