: Is anyone familiar with Alzheimer's causing vision impairment including inability to read small print, visualize photos, correctly negotiate movement around a room, see everything in a scene, watch a movie, etc. My mother began having these problems several years ago, has no medical eye diseases, and has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

My husband has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he was and still is having some occasional eye problems, blurriness, dry eyes and fuzziness. The opthomologist said it was just a sign of his age, he is only 55 yrs. old. It is good for me to hear that someone else is also questioning this.
