hello everyone i am a disabled man with arthritis who takes care of a mother with Alzheimers in NC. This is a very frustrating situation. I luckily was an Alzheimer specialist in recreation before i became disabled. i have a brother who likes to drink and keep his social activities and trips more important than helping me out thankfully ,my 22 year old daughter helps out alot. love to hear from anyone else and share i have been her caretaker for over a year and a half, she still recognized everyone, just occasional accidents where she doesn't make to bathroom on trips to appointments, and still up and walking around, she cannot cook, or do financial or concentrate on much, watches tv or stares off into space, used to try to roam at night out the front door but Haldol stopped that thank goodness, i got no sleep during that time. She is going through abrupt mood swings now. Tnanks and God bless you all you are in my prayers and I am at seveco@aol.com Steve
